Sogefi filter technologies are present on top engine at International Engine of the Year Award 2017
The engine that powers the 488 GTB, 488 Spider and the small size of the California T and GTC4 Lusso T, has received the International Engine of the Year Award along with the Performance Engine class and the 3-litre to 4-litre category. The same Sogefi oil filtration technology has been applied to Ferrari’s naturally-aspirated 6.3-litre V12 engine, that powers the F12 berlinetta and F12 tdf, awarded in the above 4-litre category for the second year consecutively. The oil filter module designed by Sogefi for performance engines: with its full plastic body, provides best in class performance and durability; protective mesh for the by-pass and a new reinforced synthetic media offer the best results on product life and efficiency, as well as mechanical stiffness in all extreme conditions required by these sport engines.
