Gates steps on the gas in the aftermarket

At Automechanika 2014, Gates presents a new range of services launched for garages and the trade: readily available information on all matters of products and services, even more support and training to enhance technical expertise, efficiency and marketing success in the aftermarket – all in OE quality.

In order to “achieve even more together”, Gates plans to strengthen its partnership with garages and the trade. What this means precisely will be presented live by the European team of the system partner for main and accessory drives at the world’s leading trade fair for the automotive industry, Automechanika in Frankfurt.

One of the declared goals is to expand competences – not only at garages but also among distribution partners. “Our products are high-tech ones,” says Wim Goossens, “Subsequent damage can quickly turn out to be costly. That’s why it is very important for our partners to be up to date in matters of installation and maintenance.”

“The market is developing in a very complex and dynamic manner: Today, workshops and the trade depend more than ever on reliable information and sustainable co-operations if they want to have long-term success,” explained Wim Goossens, Marketing Director Europe at Gates, in the run up to Automechanika 2014. “This is why we have given a great deal of thought to how we at Gates can share our technical OE expertise and experience with our partners in the aftermarket in order to enjoy greater success together. Gates is a strong partner for the aftermarket.”

So a visit to Gates Europe at Stand B91 in Hall 2 will be truly worthwhile: From 16 to 20 September 2014, visitors will have the opportunity to learn all about the new tools designed to help garages and the trade improve their efficiency and technical expertise – and most importantly, increase their profit margins.

One of the most exciting presentations concerns the introduction of a new range of interactive services for garages and the trade, a development which is set to establish a leading position for this automotive supplier in the European market. In addition, the leading specialist for accessory drive components will also be launching a number of product innovations in a variety of product lines: In the commercial vehicle segment, for example, the company will be showing a complete aftermarket program including belts, metal components and kits for trucks.

The sales management team for Europe, as well as technical training staff, will be personally on hand to hold in-depth discussions and to answer questions throughout the whole of Automechanika.
